The City as Body1st Dec 2013
Here is an arrangement I have made, for 2 pianos, of the first movement of my Symphonic Sketches: The City as Body. I have always been greatly inspired by the works for 2 pianos by Rachmaninoff and looked to emulate The Bells from the early suite. I have also included the original remastered version.
The Black Rose1st Oct 2013
This is the temp score for a ballet I have composed. Well - I say a ballet - I actually wonder if it will be an animation or even a game - but about a ballet either way. So - a sort of digital ballet (?!). Anyway...the story starts in Amsterdam with a young prince who gets lost in the old city. He falls for a young princess but she does not favour him saying: "sire - I'll be yours if you can find me a black rose..." Being a foolish and proud type he takes her at her word thinking it will be easy to find this but...of course, as it doesn't exist, it won't be something he can find. However his quest takes him far and wide - to the high seas, to the Cornish coast, the circus and even the red light district...
